What We Believe
The Bible is the only rule of our faith and life.
The Bible is the ultimate voice of authority and the true word of God.

Jesus Christ:
It is by faith alone that we share in Christ and all his blessings. The Reformed faith is centered in Christ. Christ is its starting point and Christ is the goal toward which our faith moves. It is this very first fact brought to our attention in our church’s Heidelberg Catechism. Question 1 states: “that my only comfort
in life and death is that I belong to Jesus Christ, our faithful Savior.” Because we belong to Him through the power of his Holy Spirit, we are assured of eternal life, making our lives filled with joy and celebration. That is the touchstone for all that follows.

God:
“We believe with our heart and confess with our mouth that God is eternal, incomprehensible, invisible, unchangeable, unending, almighty, perfectly wise, righteous, good, and a very abundant fountain of all good.” – The Belgic Confession.
We believe in God the Father almighty creator of heaven and earth. We believe he is the eternal Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who out of nothing created heaven and earth and everything in them. We trust him so much that we do not doubt he will provide whatever we need for our body and soul.

Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is the power of God’s love and grace in the world. He has been given to us personally by God, so that by true faith, he moves me. He makes me share in Christ’s family and all his blessings. He comforts me and remains with me forever.
Rolling Hills Community Church is a part of the "Alliance of Reformed Churches".
AFFILIATION
Rolling Hills Community Church is a member congregation of the newly formed
Alliance of Reformed Churches. The Alliance is comprised of reformed congregations
from around the nation whose allegiance is to the authority of Christ and His
word, the Bible. The outline of doctrinal adherence is given in detail on this website.
MISSIONS
Rolling Hills Community Church supports various local, state-side and
international missions. These missions include "Loaves and Fishes" food pantry
of Apopka, Transition House, Harbor House, Zellwood Elementary School supplies,
Christmas Tree gifts for Anthony House, and two missionary couples serving in
Peru and Nepal.
CONGREGATIONAL GOVERNANCE
Church Governance is carried out by a consistory (church council) which is comprised of
Elders and Deacons. Six elders carry out the spiritual oversight of the
congregation and the pastor. Six deacons carry out the oversight of
finances, property and local and international mission.
Elders and Deacons are elected or appointed terms of office.
Elections take place each December at the Annual Congregational Meeting
and terms of office begin in January. The twelve officers meet monthly to
carry out the ministry of the church and to make decisions on behalf of
the congregation.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Worship music consists of congregational singing of traditional hymns accompanied by organ and piano.
Special music is presented by organ and piano selections, contemporary YouTube or in-person selections by instrumentalists,
soloists and ensemble praise groups.
Choir has recessed for the Summer and is expected to return in the Fall.
Congregational Shepherding Ministry
This ministry organizes the church to provide for comprehensive pastoral care.
"Shepherds" are assigned "flocks" - small groups for which they provide
support, encouragement and pastoral care with the assistance of the pastor.
Each member of the church family is supported in this manner as we care
for one another with attention to spiritual and material needs.
